Kia ora, my name is Brad and I am part of the Covid Vaccination team named Koiora.
We have partnered with Waikato DHB, Raukura Hauora operating in Nawton, Waahi Whaanui in Huntly and Ngati Haaua in Waharoa. We also have a fixed site which is currently operating at Turangawaewae in Ngaruawahia and have a Mobile/pop up site navigating throughout rural communities in Waikato.
Currently, we are looking at vaccinating the 65+ age group, predominantly Maaori and those who are highly at risk of becoming sick. As well as family members that are 16 and over of the 65+ individuals who have been or are going to be vaccinated.
I have also included a digital flyer, that can be distributed and shared to our communities and our people. It’s been challenging getting our people to be vaccinated. So we are looking for help on the ground. By coming to Te Kauwhata and Meremere we’re hoping whaanau from Taniwha will be able to come.
Could you help us with contacting your whanau living there and encourage them to come. It’s be awesome if you could even take bookings from them for us. (Yes I know we got a cheek) we vaccinating from 10 till 3 so they can have anytime from 10 till 12 and then from 1 till 3.
